Jason Resch is a Brit Award winning and Ivor Novello nominated songwriter, musician, and record producer.
Born in Melbourne, Australia, his musical journey includes being a member of the acclaimed UK production team Xenomania, where Jason worked as a songwriter and session musician on numerous records for artists including Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue, Alesha Dixon, and Gabriella Cilmi to name a few.
His songwriting credits include the UK #1 ‘The Promise’ by Girls Aloud which won ‘Best British Single’ at the 2009 BRIT Awards and nominated for ‘Most Performed Work’ at the 2010 Ivor Novello Awards, ‘All Fired Up’ (UK #3) by the Saturdays, ‘The Boy Does Nothing’ (#5 UK, #8 AUS) by Alesha Dixon and ‘Move In The Right Direction’ by Gossip.
As a member of Australian country quartet Darlinghurst, Jason co-produced, co-wrote and performed on their self-titled debut album, which went #1 and #9 on the ARIA Country Album and ARIA Album charts repsectively, included 4 #1 singles at Australian country radio, and a 2022 Golden Guitar nomination for Contemporary Country Album of the Year. Darlinghurst went on to win 'New Talent Of The Year' at the 2022 Golden Guitar Awards.
